Arthur H. Walker & Co was Founded by Arthur Henry Walker and his brother Horace, at Building Society Chambers, High Street, Skipton
1938
Death of Arthur H. Walker. Practice sold to C.H. Charlesworth of Settle and becomes Charlesworth & Co Solicitors with offices in Skipton, Settle and Bentham. Mr L.R. Jefferson joins Charlie Charlesworth as a Partner
1948
Acquisition of Bracewell & Leaver in Barnoldswick and Earby. Established in Barnoldswick Brian Walker (Arthur's son) becomes a Partner.
1951
William Foster joined and the name changed to Walker, Charlesworth & Foster
1954
Moved into 3 High Street, Skipton
1976
Relocation of Leeds Office to 26 Park Square
1992
Death of C.H. Charlesworth. Name truncated to Walker Foster
1993
Acquisition of Knowles, Harrison & Caldwell, Skipton
2001
Acquisition of Varley & Co and David Whinstanley Solicitors, Silsden. Name changed to Walker Foster Varley
