Robina Hussein

Head of Litigation

Robina is a highly experienced Senior Solicitor and Head of Department with over 15 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution. She specialises in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, defamation and reputation management, contentious probate and insolvency matters.

Robina has a proven track record of successfully handling high-value and high-profile cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal. Her experience includes acting for companies, directors and individuals in multi-track disputes, urgent injunctions, and sensitive reputation management matters. She is known for her strategic, commercially focused advice and her ability to achieve swift and effective outcomes for her clients.

Prior to her role. Robina was a Partner at a boutique law firm in Leeds and subsequently practised as a Consultant Solicitor, bringing a wealth of experience from both leadership and advisory positions.

As Head of Department, Robina leads and supervises a busy litigation team, overseeing case strategy, risk management and client care. She is experienced in managing heavy caseloads, mentoring junior lawyers and implementing efficient processes to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Robina adopts a pragmatic and client-focused approach, providing clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s objectives. She is particularly skilled in resolving disputes at an early stage where possible, whilst remaining a strong and effective litigator when matters proceed to court.

Robina has also been recognised for her contribution to the legal sector, having been nominated as one of the most influential women in Leeds and selected for inclusion in the Ribbons public art installation (ribbons-sculpture-leeds.co.uk/women). Created by artist Pippa Hale, the sculpture honours nearly 400 women whose names have been permanently engraved into the installation, with Robina recognised among those making a lasting impact on the city and its communities.

Outside of work, Robina is training to become an Emergency Responder with St John Ambulance and raises funds for Macmillan Cancer Trust by taking part in 26 miles hikes.
