David Barton

Senior Solicitor

David joined the residential conveyancing department at Walker Foster in 2007 as a Solicitor, having qualified in 2003. Based initially at the firm’s Ilkley office, he very quickly became well known and respected as a leading conveyancing force among people looking for conveyancing services and with local estate agents and other businesses. He continued to work at the Ilkley office until July 2016 when he moved to the Skipton office to step into the shoes of a senior conveyancing partner who retired.

Since moving to the Skipton office, David has continued to build up a significant following in the community and has excellent referral relationships with a number of estate agents and other property professionals, so much so that he remains one of the firm’s busiest conveyancing solicitors. 

David is respected in the business community and is well known for his expertise, depth of knowledge across all areas of conveyancing and his ability to find solutions to difficult legal problems. David deals with all types of residential property and acts for a number of property developers and investors in relation to acquisitions and disposals.

In his spare time, David enjoys attending football matches with his Everton and Man City supporting sons. He can often be found on the golf course or out on walks with his beloved cockapoo, Olly.
